Brende Home is an interior design firm dedicated to creating inspiring interiors that exceed client expectations. Founder, Jessica Brende has been decorating since she remembers, starting with revamping her dollhouse on a whim and working with her mother, interior designer Susan Taylor. Jessica can recall the smell of fabrics from her mother’s workroom and believes this introduction ignited her love of interior design. After graduating from University of Southern California, Jessica decided to turn her childhood passion into a career and attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Upon graduation, she landed a design position with Bonesteel Trout Hall, a high end residential design firm based in Pacific Palisades, CA. After five years of working and the birth of her first son, Jessica created Brende Home in 2009. Jessica’s fresh and uplifting approach to design continues to inspire her clients. Whether it is a full remodel project, designing a dream master bedroom or simply pulling together an otherwise dull space, Brende Home is dedicated to creating beautiful spaces.
“I am touched and honored to work with my clients and create personal spaces that enhance the way they live.” Jessica Brende
Born in Connecticut and raised in Los Angeles, Alex has a design sensibility that combines the ease of the southern California lifestyle with elegance and grace. Alex’s exposure to design principles began in her early education, where her high school emphasized the importance of aesthetics and design as part of the gestalt of every project. At Loyola Marymount University, Alex majored in Communication Studies, where she added the critical dimension of understanding the client’s needs for the successful execution of every project. Alex’s Communications degree led to an internship at BWR Public Relations in the Music Department and ID PR in the Talent Department, both well-established entertainment public relation’s firms in Los Angeles. After graduation, Alex began working full-time as a Talent Assistant at ID PR, where she was quickly promoted to Associate Account Executive because of her skills in graciously managing and growing the talent careers of a number of established actors. Alex joined interior design firm Brende Home in January 2015 as Project Manager to use her experience in PR project execution and client satisfaction to work alongside the company founder Jessica Brende.
